Hairpipe Jewelry in an 1890s' Indian Trade Goods Style |
Battle Dress jewelry blends traditional style with old and new materials. From this blend comes hairpipe jewelry which reflects an 1890s' Indian Trade Goods period style. My tribe, the Lakota, are Buffalo hunters who lived in tipis and travelled often. Living this mobile lifestyle focused our arts on the things we could carry. At TWO ELK ENTERPRISE we continue with this design tradition in creating Battle Dress, "art you can wear!"
