TWO ELK ENTERPRISE offers diversified products and services emerging from our Native American traditions. In addition to offering our line of Battle Dress jewelry, we also provide Educational Services on Native American Studies and Outdoor Education from a Native American view.
TWO ELK ENTERPRISE began in January 1989 as TWO ELK/ Native American Services. It began as an individual effort to meet market interests in Native American topics. I provided educational services to public schools and Native American student programs in the Front Range Denver/Boulder area of Colorado. Services to Indian Education programs included providing Radio Broadcast Production Training as well as Outdoor Education Skills Training.
In the early 1990s' it developed into a family effort and we diversified by developing and introducing BATTLE DRESS & TOOL, Northern Plains Style jewelry & Lakota style stick arts to retail and direct sales markets. In conjunction with this, in the mid 1990s' We became TWO ELK ENTERPRISE, since our offerings were no longer limited to services.
With this shift came new technologies such as fax machines and new marketing techniques. We used these to help sell our Native American based products and services.
We continue to explore this realm of new technologies, and although we've moved through it later than most, and at a dinosuars pace our efforts have proven successful. The Battle Dress web site is an example of our development and progression with these new technologies.

CROSS-CULTURAL: NATIVE AMERICAN STUDIES PRESENTATIONS |
PATH FINDER: OUTDOOR EDUCATION PROGRAM |
Teachers in public, private and
parochial schools can select from standardized units in many subject areas and three study
levels. We provide unit outlines, teacher reference materials and student handouts, to
assist in teaching each lesson.
Our presentations offer interactive discussion and experiential learning activities. Students experience and enjoy individual growth & group challenge with our Team Work learning approach. We can make presentations to one class, many classes of the same grade or to several class grades in your school. |
Our Path Finder program offers
youth introductory level training in common and critical outdoor skills areas. In our
workshops students learn skills and concepts related to first-aid, orienteering, tracking
and field communications.
We use an innovative approach of blending scientific skills training with cross cultural concept and content. Team Work is the means by which topics are explored, activity sites are encountered and skills drills are executed. Workshops can focus on one or multiple skills area and can last one day or several. |
