This Web Quest unit is designed primarily for Elementary and Middle Level grades.

Course areas for this study include Arts, Language Arts, Social Studies, Environemental Studies, Astronomy and Computer Technologies

Extensions

This Web Quest unit could be extended to H.S., College and Teacher Development levels.

Course areas at these levels would encompass various Cross Cultural, American and Native American Studies.

Learner Prerequisites

At the basic Elementary and Middle Level studies Students must be capable of creating reports/presentations and engaging in group work.

At the Intermediate Middle, High School and College level studies students must be capable of creating Computer Generated Word Processed Reports, Power Point presentations and use the Internet.

At the Advanced College and staff development level studies students must have adequate grasp of Dos' & Don'ts, Accuracy & Authenticity points (linked elsewhere in this document) and the Web Quest concept.
