Native American Speeches...

From the Past

The words of Chief Seattle, Chief Joseph, Chief Black Kettle and Chief Red Cloud, to name only a few, live on as a historical record of their experience.
Today we can read these words and know something of their world
and their times.

From the present

Likewise, the words of todays' Native leaders represent a historical
record of these times. In addition to being able to read these in books and on the Internet, there are many opportunities to attend events where Native speakers are present, to learn more about Native interests, views and concerns.

Generations - Native American Radio

With the WinterCamp Chronicles series you can hear these speeches again and again. Some speeches in the series have been transcribed and each speech in the series has been encompassed in an eStudy Guide software program.
